In Process Quality Control System

Beyond utilizing the standard military specifications, Edwards places quality assurance individuals on each line of 8 to 10 workers to guarantee that the job is executed properly according to the specifications outlined. This is called “in process” quality control. We have “samples to run” on hand to insure that your product looks perfect every time. We design fixtures if necessary to complete the project in the most timely and accurate way.

Time Study and Cost Analysis

A time study is conducted by a non-handicapped individual to price each project. The project is broken into the steps as outlined by the customer and time per unit is calculated. We calculate the time per unit by our cost for labor and give you a per piece price. Piece rate allows our customers to know exactly what the job will cost and it gives every Oregonian with disabilities the opportunity to work.

Turnaround

Price quotes are most always ready within 24 hours. Samples and/or drawings are sometimes requested for time and motion study. Start date depends on availability of workers on given dates requested. On-going projects are scheduled into weekly partials and are delivered according to the customers needs. Edwards Enterprises will place the required number of workers needed to turnaround projects quickly. Edwards Enterprises calculates turnaround based on the time to complete the task.
